MTB Tire

Construction

MTB as the essence of technical off-road riding. Tubeless MTB tyres have become the gold standard for modern trail and racing riding – they allow significantly lower pressures for maximum grip, eliminate most punctures thanks to sealant, and reduce weight compared to tube systems. The popularity of MTB continues to grow thanks to technical advances in bikes and components.

A new generation MTB tyre, developed in collaboration with professional racers and inspired by technologies from gravel and road models, offers the ideal combination of grip, durability, and efficiency. Thanks to its refined compound and tread pattern, it can withstand even the most demanding conditions—from technical trails to long marathon courses.

TUFO TR Beads

Aramid beads developed for tubeless tyres with an focus on safety. The beads are specially treated to adhere and hold firmly inside the tyres.

Bead protection

It serves to reinforce the bead area of the tyre, i.e., the place where the tire contacts the rim.

Additional bead protection

The carcass

The carcass determines the shape, strength, and driving characteristics of the tyre. Its quality is often expressed in TPI units.

Puncture barrier

The anti-puncture layer is a special reinforcement inside the tyre casing that protects against punctures and cuts.

Protective rubber ply

A special protective layer under the tread also serves as a tyre wear indicator

Tread

The tread is the outer part of the tyre that comes into contact with the road surface. It is a rubber layer with a pattern that ensures grip, water drainage, and wear resistance. Its compound has a significant impact on driving characteristics such as rolling resistance, traction, and noise levels.
